Advanced Operators in Google:

basic pattern:  <operator>:<search term> (no spaces between operator, colon and search term)

examples:

• site:
  • used to limit search to specific url (web address) - site:cof.orst.edu | site:gov
• filetype: 
  • used to limit search to specific type of document - uses file suffix - filetype:pdf | filetype:xls
• inurl:
  • used to find results with portion of url in results -   inurl:olcc

 Note: advanced operators can be used in combinations with each other and search terms

• example:  site:gov inurl:olcc filetype:pdf rules
